The Welcome Table is a funded initiative supported by Thrive and delivered by Community First Wyre.

The Welcome Table is a FREE six-week family programme, delivered through four six-week cohorts between September 2026 and April 2027.

Each session provides a FREE hot meal alongside a range of engaging activities, creating a welcoming space that promotes family connection and overall wellbeing.

OUR SERVICE.
The Welcome Table takes place every Thursday from 5pm at The Heart of the Hub Café and is open to families living within an FY7 postcode area.

We take a multi-agency approach, offering wraparound support during each session. This includes access to services such as mental health support, housing advice, family wellbeing services, information, guidance and signposting to local services.

You can select all cohorts that you are available to attend when completing the form. However, families can only be approved for ONE six-week cohort during the full funding period of September 2026 – April 2027.

Once your form has been submitted, a member of the Welcome Table team will contact you to discuss your requirements and, subject to eligibility and availability, confirm which cohort you have been allocated to. This is also an opportunity to discuss any support or transport requirements.
