BORROW IT
Borrow IT is a community-powered membership scheme run by Community First Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. We bring people together by creating a shared inventory of useful items, built from generous community donations and new products sponsored by local businesses and organisations.
Every donated item undergoes a Portable Appliance Test (PAT) and a practical safety check to ensure it is in full working order before being added to our catalogue. Members can then browse our website, reserve what they need, and borrow items with ease.

OUR SERVICE.
For just a small fee, members can borrow items for up to
7 days. When booking, you’ll be given a choice of collection times and locations:

Tuesdays – Fleetwood Youth Hub (10:00–15:00)

Wednesdays – Kincraig Community Centre (10:00–12:00)

Thursdays – 95 Abingdon Street (10:00–15:00)
Please note: all items must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance so our team can clean, check, and prepare them ready for collection.
Beyond borrowing, Borrow It also empowers members to learn new skills through hands-on workshops across the community. From DIY, decorating, and sewing to cooking, our workshops are fun, practical, and interactive. They not only help you save money and reduce waste but also give you the chance to put your new skills into action with items borrowed from our library.

Workshops
Here at Borrow It we aim to provide workshops to help the community learn new skills that will not only help save the planet but also help save you money.
These workshops are delivered across the town and are fun, educational and interactive. Our library of items are then on hand for you to show off your new skills to friends and family!
