𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 – 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧!

The Volunteering for Health team has been hosting a series of Vision Workshops designed to imagine what volunteering could and should look like in the years ahead — and today was another fantastic step forward!

We spent the day with the Volunteer Centre Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde Brokerage team,

diving into the real experiences of volunteers and organisations.

Together, we explored:

•  Strengths and weaknesses within current volunteering

•  What gets in the way before and during someone’s volunteering journey

•  Practical, meaningful ways we can improve the experience for everyone

These conversations are rich, honest, and vital — and we want more voices at the table.

 We’re now looking for facilitators from organisations across our community to join us. We’ll train you to run Vision Workshops with your own volunteers, gather insights, and help us build a shared vision for the future of volunteering.

To make sure every perspective is represented, we’ve also created a Steering Group made up of people from across sectors — including local government, the NHS, education, and more. Your volunteers’ views will feed directly into this group, ensuring their voices truly shape what comes next.
